Brief Bio
Hi! My name is Chibuihe Asonye. I am a Junior studying Earth, Society, and Enviornmental Sustainability and I am the Agriculutre, Land Use, Food, and Sequestration Team Clerk for the 2016|17 school year. Along with being in the ALUFS Team Clerk, I am also the Historian for the RSO Minorities in Agriculture, Natural Resources, and Relates Sciences (MANRRS); I am involved with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship specifically their Black Campus Ministry; and I work as a Resident Advisor and as Front Desk Clerk in University Housing. A few fun facts about myself. I enjoy studying in the Main Library’s Main Stacks. Not only is it beautiful it is also quiet yet active, my prime studying atmosphere. When it is nice and warm outside, you can also catch me reading on the Engineering Quad, even though, I’m not in the College of Engineering. I thoroughly enjoy reading, listening to music, and dialoguing about social injustice, equality, and intersectionality! I’m currently reading I Have A Dream: Writings & Speeches that Changed the World of Martin Luther King Jr. My favorite songs at the moment is Stubborn Love by Lumineers and Stereotypes by Black Violin.
