A low-emission vehicle is one that emits relatively low levels of motor vehicle emissions. Examples include electric vehicles, hybrid vehicles, and biofuel vehicles. The University is pursuing several efforts to encourage the use of low-emission vehicles on campus, both with the University's fleet of service vehicles, and in the personal vehicles of students, employees, and visitors.
